ABOUT ME
Costa Rican singer Andrés Rodríguez is based in Barcelona, where he performs both as a soloist and as a chorister in the world of opera.
Driven by a desire to explore his voice in new ways, he revisits the boleros and beloved songs of his native Costa Rica, blending the refined technique of his operatic background with a deep passion for sharing music in an intimate and authentic way.
His musical journey embraces a variety of ensembles, from the warmth of guitar accompaniment to the elegance of piano-based classical settings, as well as more traditional performances enriched by percussion and brass. His repertoire also explores fusions with jazz, bringing new colors and a contemporary sensibility to his musical language.
Today, he divides his time between Barcelona and the Burgundy region of France, while continuing to travel and perform internationally.
